Lots of laughs were had

This adorable little guy is actually my first cousin once removed (my cousins son) and I was lucky enough to spend a socially distanced couple of days hanging out with him and his family as they rented a cottage in my neighborhood.   What was so fun about this for me, as a photographer (who has mostly been taking pictures of birds for the past few months due to the pandemic) was that on top of the official portrait session that we did, I was able to just hang out with my camera and get a lot of fun shots of the little one playing, or interacting with his favorite toys, or with our dogs, or with his family, without the pressures of an ‘official portrait session’.   This type of shoot is really fun and I love how much of his personality is captured in images for his family to enjoy for years to come!
